Changing tables suggestions...

Okay. I am looking to buy a changing table for my DS's room. He is 6 1/2 months old and to date I have been changing him on the full size bed in his room and/ or on the changing pad I have set up on two very secure ottomans. My back is killing me from bending over so help me out and recommend your changing table.

    I agree with using a dresser rather then going out and buying a change table. I bought a fairly inexpensive dresser from Ikea and put a change pad on it. It's a bit high but I've really liked having DS that much closer to me so I'm not bending over to tal

    I didn't get a dresser for his room. I have most of his clothes either hanging up or in cloth bins in the shelving unit in his closet. Thanks for the feedback though you guys.

    Since it will only be used for a short period of time why don't you grab a used one on Craig's list? That's where I got mine and I love it!

    At 6.5 mos, I would just get a changing pad and keep him on the bed or do it on the floor.  He's going to get too wiggly soon anyways.

    I used the top of our 3-drawer Hemnes dresser from IKEA and it is perfect.

    We bought an inexpensive 3-drawer Leksvik dresser from IKEA and it works perfectly for my daughter. Before we moved to our house we did not have a lot of room in her nursery so this dresser worked perfectly.  She has a bigger room in our new home
