Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Recommend your baby back pack!

DH and I will be doing some hiking as well as flying to Bermuda w/ DD this summer.  She will be 14 months when we fly and right now is topping the scale at about 22lbs (30" tall).  We both workout and are in good shape (lol i know some are tougher on backs but i think we are stronger than average).

So can you recommend a back baby carrier?  I'm not super interested in fancy things like a sun shade (I drive a Jeep so baby has tons of big brim hats and around the head sunglasses), mainly something that is comfortable and preferably can be carried around fairly compact - lol - is this something that exists?  Obv FTM here so I really have no idea so I wanted to get some input before i started browsing amazon!

TIA Ladies!

  • I would go for an Ergo.  They have framed hiking backpacks but you seem like you want something more compact.  The Ergo is super comfy.  You will love it!
