Hi all! Another snow day for us new england teachers! (I'm not complaining, especially since I don't have to make them up at the end of the year!!).

I just scheduled a prenatal massage for 36 weeks (yikes - next week!!) and a brazilian wax and a mani/pedi for 39 weeks (if I make it that long!). 

I did already try a prenatal massage at 30 weeks and it was heaven (I'm not usually big on massages). Can't wait to do it again! The wax is just necessary as I haven't had one since November (just shaving blindly since then) and I'm hoping for a maintenance free postpartum recovery! I'm working until my due date (or labor, whatever comes first!) and it's tough to get through the day at this point. I'm so looking forward to these spa appointments.

What are you doing to pamper yourself during pregnancy?

dx: MFI 0% morph & low count. Occasional Anovulatory cycles.

    I know I'm still really early but we're going on vacation in a couple weeks and I'm getting a mani/pedi and wax before we go and am going to get a prenatal massage when we're down there.

    My DH got me a Mass.age En.vy package for Xmas that I saved

    Okay, so can I ask a question about waxing??  I waxed last summer...but haven't since Labor Day.  I just shave during the winter.  How much worse is the waxing going to feel now that I am pregnant??

    3/2009 - FD discovered at 17 weeks1/2011 - Lap and HSG reveal Stage IV Endo and both tubes blocked. 
    4/2012 - Consult with RE for IVF#1 - Labs and SA are normal - Repeat HSG - SURPRISE! Both tubes are open.
    May, June, August 2012 - IUI#1-3 - Letrozole + Bravelle + Ovidrel trigger = BFN
    9/2012 - Lap#2 to remove endo and Hysteroscopy 
    IVF#1 (Long Lupron) - 12/6 ER - 20R 11F * 12/11 ET - Transferred 2 excellent blasts * 3 Frosties * 
    Beta #1 79.7 * Beta #2 240 * EDD - 8.29.13 * It's a GIRL!

    Good for you!  The massage and mani/pedi/wax sound great!  Well, not so much the wax, but you'll be happy when it's done. :-)

    I did my first prenatal massage a few weeks ago, and yes, it is great.  I think I'm going to try and get

    TTC #1 7/10, Me (31)- Dx DOR (AMH 0.6); DH (30)- normal
    BFP on Cycle #8. Natural M/C at ~8 weeks
    IUI #1 and #2 (8/12, 9/12)- 50 mg Clomid + Ovidrel = BFNs
    IVF #1 (EPP) 13R/10M/9F, 5DT 1-4AA blast, beta #1-148, beta #2-322, 5 frosties!

    I have a prenatal massage scheduled for tonight and I cannot wait!! I am also in desperate need of a pedicure, but since the weather in NJ isn't warming up very quickly, I'm not entirely worried about it. I cannot wait for sandal/flip flop season!!!
    Anniversary
    Tried to conceive on our own for a year before moving on to fertility treatments. Dx unexplained. About 10 months of procedures, shots, and countless doctor appointments, we got our BFP! BFN on 5 IUI's

    waxing is sooooooooooooooo muchhhhhhhhhh moreee painful, especially in the third tri.   godspeed!

    I am weird and I do not like to be touched like for a massage or mani/pedi.  I only like it if dh does it.  So I am not big on pampering.  I wanted to go on a cruise before the baby is born but I am stuck on land due to the stuid cysts.&nbs

    Once I hit 2nd tri I am getting a massage. I got a pedi at 6 weeks and will do it again the minute the polish wears off. I will restart yoga the moment I am allowed. I also go to pregnancy pt every week to help with sore muscles.

    I'm all about the massage but the wax yikes! 

    DH has been learning to shave me just planing on him helping out down there when I can't see to do it myself.

    I'm planning a mani/pedi if nothing else in a couple weeks... I'd love a prenatal massage, but I gotta talk to DH and see if its alright (since I'm not working). As far as waxing, I didn't know you could still do that this far along? That's great though..

    Okay, I must be in the minority here but I have continued getting my regular brazilian wax every 6-7 weeks since I got pregnant and I haven't really noticed that it's much different at all.  Weird.  But I wouldn't fear it too much if you were a
    TTC #1 since 2/2011. Me: Age 36. Stage III Endo and Hashimoto's Thyroiditis.
    IUI #1 March: BFN, IUI #2 April: BFN.
    IVF #1: Started stims 7/30--CANCELLED.
