Twirling Hands/Wrists

Does anyone else's LO twirl their hands around and constantly open close their hands when they are excited?

It doesn't seem LO is doing it intentionally and it looks like he is sort of grabbing in the air. He slaps his leg pretty frequently too.

Anyone else's LO do these things?

My daughter doesn't twirl her hands but her feet are always spinning in circles!

DD has been twirling her hands for months now- probably since 4 months- and she does it all the time. She usually does it when she's excited or upset, sometimes when she's overtired.

DD does this when I'm feeding her a bottle. She's done it for months.
Her one foot is always moving in a circle, too. I do the same thing when I'm falling asleep.

My daughter has been doing this since I can remember. She twirls her hands and feet. We actually spoke to the doctor about this and he said it is normal and more of a habit now. He said that once she starts crawling and walking it should stop. It's very c
