Pprom moms

Hi all,

Just wondering if there is anyone else here dealing with Pprom. We're expecting twins (due 8/27) and at 15w4d baby a had a full membrane rupture. We haven't been given any hope from any doctors for the survival of either aby. I'm 17w today and they all expected something to happen already. As of Thursday we still had 2 strong hb's and babies growing on track. We have 2 appts tomorrow with specialists and I'm praying and crossing everything I can think of that we still have 2 strong hb's and growing babies.

Anyone else in the same or similar boat?

PS: bed rest is not nearly as exciting or restful as one would hope.

I am so sorry that you are dealing with this. I had PROM with DS at 23w5d and I was placed in the delivery room for 2 days because they thought for sure that I would deliver in the next 24-48 hours. However, I was able to hold on to him for about 2 mor

I pPROMed at 29w2d and made it to 33w3d before going into labor on my own.

Good luck!  Baby Center has a pPROM support group.  It's one of the first things that comes us when you google "pprom."
