vacation at 29/30wks, 2nd time moms help?

We usually drive about 4.5 hours North to a small rental on the water in July. I'll be 29-30weeks at that time this year. Once the drive is done, we pretty much just hang out on the beach, bbq, go for light walks, eat eat eat. Should I go? Of course I can always cancel if I need to, but I'll probably lose my deposit on the rental (which I have to decide in the next few days to put down or not). I know everyone is different, but just curious on people's thoughts?! Especially 2nd time moms, what do you think of a vacation at 30 weeks?

    I would go.

    I'm flying to FL and spending a week at Disney in June. I will be 32 weeks.

    I'd go. I'm going on my family vacation this year in July at 35 weeks. It's not a flight or anything, just a 5 1/2 hour drive away to OBX.  I'm comfortable with it...even though everyone says I'm cutting it awfully close. This is my first baby, so I

    I took a vacay (across the country) at 30 weeks during my last pregnancy, and it was Amazing. You should definitely go and enjoy the time to relax!

    I'd go. Just remember to get out and stretch at least once. You'll have to stop to pee, but other then that you should be fine.

    I would totally go! I went to the beach with my husband around that time. It'll be a nice way to relax and get your mind off of your growing belly!

    Lurking...

    I went on vacation at 33/34 weeks and it was great.  Of course I was a little nervous, but it was really priceless for DH and I to have one last trip in before LO arrived.

    When I was pregnant with DS we went on a small vacation at 32 weeks.  It wasn't bad, I just needed to rest a bit more than everyone else.  But it was really nice to get away.

    Thanks everyone for your advice, this post was helpful. I am taking a 7 hour road trip to visit my grandparents. I will be about 29 weeks when I go. Thankfully my car is very comfy. I better start mapping out all the potty stops now.
