I could use some fresh ideas for things to keep DS1 occupied. My babysitter is away this week and I'm home on maternity leave so I need to keep DS1 entertained all day, especially when I'm BFing. Also the weather is pretty crummy, so we are stuck inside.

    We do forts, bowling with 2liters, coloring and kindle apps among other things. There is a website called productive parenting that might have some ideas too.

    as far as independent activities: blocks, megablocks, puzzles, books, just toys in general, baby einstein or bubble guppies (*gasp* yes, TV!--in moderation, people)

    I bought DD some cheap Easter window clings (from Joann Fabrics or Michael's, I think), and she's been having a lot of fun with those for the last couple days. I also made her a hiding place based on something I saw on Pinterest with a tension rod and cur

    Jess & Adam, married 2009, precious Audrey born in 2011. BFP 1/6/13, 6-wk MMC discovered at 9 wks 2/11/13. D&C 2/18/13, second D&C 4/23/13 for retained placenta.
    BFP 8/24/13!! EDD 5/1/14, delivered healthy and sweet Zoey Leanne on 5/5/14 by repeat c-section.
