I know this has been discussed before but the search function isn't being helpful, so I thought I'd ask again...
Have any of you done acupuncture to move things along/avoid induction/etc? My midwife wants me to be "proactive" since I am measuring a little bit ahead, and she suggested acupuncture after 37 weeks. I just made my first appointment.
Ladies who've done it - did it help? How many times did you go?

As with any natural induction technique I think it's hard to say what helps and what doesn't. I think for me it definitely helped to get my body ready, whether it pushed me over the edge into labor I don't know. I had acupuncture done on a
It depends on how far ahead you are measuring. For me, I wouldn't want to start acupuncture at 37 weeks, yes you're term but not full term. The earliest I would even contemplate this would be 39 weeks.
