Hello all you lovely ladies! Just noticed this board yesterday, and after reading everything you've all written I feel so much better about my plans. I never wanted any children. NEVER. I remember telling my mom at the age of 6, and that feeling didn't waver until I turned 23. Then for some reason, (I blame my wonderful husband, our great jobs, and the beautiful house we bought) my baby switch got flipped. Crazy. It was a slow progression, but now 3 years later, I am fully committed to having one then done! We love to travel, and we would rather give all our time and resources to making one child's life awesome instead of spreading ourselves too thin. We both have siblings, so our child would have plenty of cousins, but both feel that siblings have a tendency to fight and compete with each other more then actually love and play with each other, lol. So yeah, that's the plan. We will hopefully start TTC within the next year, and it will be nice to have the support of others who feel the same way.

Good luck TTC! I was of the none plan too - that's something that gets used against me sometimes. "if you changed your mind once, you'll change it again and want more!"
