I'm doing some shopping on Carter's right now...
(PSA on top of the everything 50% off there is a 20% off $40+ code in the MM catalogs, it's SPRING20 so go get some good deals ladies!)
... and I'm trying to decide how much to buy in NB and how much to buy in 3 months. But I can not for the life of me remember how Carter's runs.
I know Gerber onsies always run small, M is wearing 12month everything else right now but her 18month Gerber onsies are snug on her. Garanimals and Carter's Child Of Mine run kind of boxy (so they never fit M's little frame). Gymboree runs kind of small too and Children's Place runs about on target, depending on what you're buying from there.
Any thoughts? I know it can vary by kid but in general... certain brands run their sizes differently, so I was hoping some one could shed some light.

I agree that Carters run long and lean.
I also stuck to the "rule" that the size on the label is gerenally includes the month before and after, so 3m was 2-4m, 6m was 5-7m,etc.

It's so funny that everyone thinks brands run differently!
For us, Carter's always runs true to size. Same with Old Navy and Osh Kosh.
Gap, Circo (Target), and Jumping Bean (Kohl's) run big.
Gerber runs small.
