Unfortunately my 18 month old DD realized the other morning that she could climb out of her crib. For safety reasons we decided to convert her crib to the toddler bed. She will not stay in bed. For the last 3 days and nights nap and bedtime I have been trying so hard to just keep going to her room and putting her back in bed. She's been falling asleep later due to this and still waking at her normal EARLY 5/5:30. Today after an hour and a half of her screaming and crying at nap time and putting her back in her bed more times than I can count, I gave in, put her in the car, and she fell asleep in 5 minutes. She absolutely loves her bed when it's not time to sleep in it. She reads in it and cuddles her stuffed animals in it. I'm just at a loss at what to do. How long will it take for her to realize it's bedtime and time to stay in her bed. I'm almost 6 months pregnant so at this point I'm beyond exhausted and emotional. More so I'm sure than if I weren't pregnant. But this is just so hard. I hope someone has a little advice and hope for me that this will get better! Thanks!!

I've got no other advice, we have not crossed that bridge, and honestly, I'm really thinking a

We didn't really have a problem at bedtime. Nap time was another story. We transistioned from crib to toddle bed at Thanksgiving and still napped in the crib until mid January.
Persistance is key. If she won't stay in her bed
