Kaitlyn?

Kaitlyn, Katelyn, Katelynn....

I like the name, but was curious to see what the most common spelling would be.

My BFF growing up was Katelyn and I like that spelling. But of the three you mention, I think I see Kaitlyn the most, and I like that too. I dislike that third option for some reason.

I think the most common spelling would be Caitlin. If you really want to use a K, I'd go with Kaitlyn. But honestly, I'm not a fan of that spelling.

I'm a Caitlin. That was the most popular spelling for a while and is the closest to the Irish (though with a different pronunciation), but in 2011 the most popular spellings were:

I think the most traditional spelling is Kaitlyn, but I have also seen Katelyn a lot. I think Katelynn is a little less common.

I think Caitlin looks best.

If it must start with a K, then Kaitlin. The 'add a y to everything' trend turns me off from Kaitlyn.

I'm also a Caitlin. I like my name and vastly prefer the traditional spelling, but it does get misspelled. A lot. Usually with either a K or a Y...or both, lol. That said, it doesn't bother me and I wouldn't discount the name because of it.
