Stuck in a bad cycle - RANT !

i adore my son, love him like crazy but sometimes it get's all onto my nerves ..

during the day, it's a war to get him food, any kind of food down his tummy....we try all different methods playing / singing / trying different times / keeping him more hungry / different places but nothing works 

and milk - he only wants breast milk ...maybe one time during the day he will take formula...about 4 oz...but's that's about it !!

 oh yes ! he eats wires, books, paper, toys - anything non edible very very fast and all the time ! 

i am a working mum...from home though...i get super tired trying to coax him to eat / drink for hours ! ....plus i wake up 4 times atleast in night to feed him...( which happens on those days when he has not had enough food - which means almost every night)..i have a helper, but she gives up pretty soon - saying " he is not hungry !! " ...

i also know this is a phase....and will pass but just thot write it down as i am crying now !!

    Are you feeding purees only?  If so try some table food, both of my kids were always 'meh' about purees but would devour table food.

    It sounds a bit like reverse cycling. Did you try to give a bottle of BM to top of before bed time? For some babies it works (not my DD).

    I can only imagine how tired you are. Hang in there!

    We had a very similar situation for the past 3 weeks, so I totally feel your pain!  Here is what we did.  DS had a cold and fluid in his ear, and he always stops eating when he is sick, refusing all solids and taking only half the amount from
