CP - Washing New Clothes - Baby Edition

I saw a MIL Monday complaint on the 213 board about this. Just wondering if everyone washes clothes before they wear them? [Poll]

  • I voted ss because when he was a newborn and up until about 6 months, yes I washed everything before he wore it, but now I don't!

  • I do this for every new piece of clothing he gets. Even if it's hand me downs. Everything gets washed. Even clothes that are too big now. I take the tags off and wash them, then store them. That way once he's ready I can just throw them into th

  • Clothes come with a surprising amount of chemicals in them. Even the organic ones get a wash ahead of time. My daughter has super sensitive skin, so we're cautious about fabrics, making sure they breathe, etc.
