  Mine does this too. If he can get what he wants even without crawling just yet, I'm not concerned.

  Some kids don't crawl closer to 9 months. A lot of kids don't crawl at all...just go straight to walking.  Every kid is different.

   Eats childproof locks for breakfast...

  DD didn't crawl until 9.5mo.  I scooted on my butt, my dad actually called me Scooter when I was little.  I wouldn't worry about it, some kids never crawl.
