When do they grow out of grunting?

I am very proud of DS for sleeping for 5 hours last night (he was 5 weeks as of yesterday), but my word, the grunts!! Some nights are better than others but what a racket! We moved him into his room for 2 nights, but then I felt bad and put him back in our room again. I know this will end at some point, but when? And why does he sleep so peacefully during the day?!

  • I will definitely be watching this post! Same thing here. She's so quiet during the day but at night... jeez. She's so loud! Not sure why that is either! Hopefully they grow out of it soon. DD will be 7 weeks Thursday.

  • LOL!  Oh the grunting.  Thank goodness DD2 is not a grunter.  When she does, it is within minutes of her waking up...like a pre-alarm clock.  However, DD1 was sooo loud, we moved her out of our room by 6 weeks because she kept me awake
