In a state of panic

We had our parents as teachers meeting tonight and nora failed the hearing test. She didn't even flinch so Dh and have been doing stuff all night and she doesn't seem to hear us. I'm freaking out so bad how have I missed this. On top of it i threw up tonight and feel like ***. I just keep looking at her and I'm in tears.

Did she pass the hearing test in the hospital at birth? Any chance it could be major ear wax build up? That can affect hearing but I'm not sure to what degree. Feel better. Sorry you're dealing with this.

I'm so sorry that you are going through this. Try not to jump to conclusions. Hopefully you will get to the Pedi soon and get some answers and a plan. Remember you did find this you took her to the meeting and got her hearing tested. Thoughts and prayers

Just huge hugs, I hope your pedi can give you some answers. Don't beat yourself up, maybe you didn't miss anything...maybe she's only recently having trouble hearing you.
