Update on us
In case you're wondering, I didn't abandon the board. My computer had to have the CD drive repaired, but I got it back last night.
Just an update on us. We had a cake & ice cream reception for LO's birthday yesterday. She dug into the cake with relish, and smeared it all over her face, eyes, up her nose, etc, to everyone's delight. Still no walking here, though she'll take a step or two. She is fairly uninterested in walking as crawling gets her everywhere she wants to go.
The movers come tomorrow to pack us up, though we don't fly to Virginia until next week. It's going to be a long 10 days living out of a suitcase on an air mattress. The in-laws are still being awful about the move.
I'm a bit jealous of all of you that are KU or TTC. Since I'm changing jobs, we can't start trying until I've been at my new job 3-4 months so I'll be eligible for FMLA by the time the next LO comes along. Given that C was a couple weeks early, we're leaning towards 4 months, but hopefully we'll be expecting the next one in April 2014.
