Natural Birth

Birth Outside the Box?

Sorry to be such a PW today, I've just finally gotten a few moments to sit and do some research.  My area doesn't offer Hypnobabies or Bradley method classes and the only "natural birth class" here is Tuesday nights, when I have my night class.  I really want to take a course of some sort to prepare myself so I have been research home study programs.  Obviously Hypnobabies and GentleBirth were high on the list and I can find a ton of reviews for them, but I just came across Birth Outside the Box and it looks like a good homestudy option if you are on a budget (only $50!).

The problem is, I can't really find a good review anywhere!  A few people have asked about it on message boards but with no replies.  Does anyone here have any experience with this program or know someone who does?  $50 is small pennies for a birthing class, but not something I want to waste if it's not a good program, you know?

  • If you're on a budget, buy "The Birth Partner". Heck, buy two so you each have a copy. Read it with your DH. It's really thorough, and only about $11 on amazon.

  • Maybe you could also get a "used" hypnobabies course for cheaper.  I've seen bumpies selling theirs in the past but I'm sure there are other places you could try (Ebay or maybe even Amazon).

I cannot believe the luck... I have only hopped over to the Natural Birth Board once before and I don't believe I've ever felt compelled to reply to one of the posts here before now. I just so happened to have bought the "Birth Outside

  • Yeah, I do not regret buying the course. I wish I'd finish it... but I don't regret it, lol. The Study Womb is a pretty awesome place and I am sure if you like the basic website, you'll love that area when you get access to it. It's really nice having all
