I've gotten a few bathing suits for DD recently and I just wanted to mention to 1st time moms that the best bathing suits for girls I find are tankinis.  I never thought much of it DD's first summer, but it's so much easier to change when they're in a 2 piece and I know alot of moms are not into bikinis

    Flap Happy and certain other brands make one piece bathing suits with the snaps on the bottom, so you can change diapers easily.

    I personally disagree with you but to each their own.  I prefer a one piece and have from 4 months on.  I've never had an issue with changing being a problem.  The very few times there was ever a poo at the pool I took the whole swimsuit

    I never seen the one piece with snaps, sounds like a good idea, I'd be a little worried about the snaps heating up, but I guess there's not too much sun light there.  I've never had an issue with the suit riding up and we've done swim classes and spe
