Sleep training for naps

We are very fortunate that LO goes to bed for the night without incident and STTN.  However, naps are a huge problem  Can anyone recommend a sleep training method.  I have purchased so many baby books and I really don't want to spend anymore money on methodology books that I never finish ready.  I have tries the Baby Whisperer and no luck.  Yes, I did finish that one.  Can you recommend one and tell me how it works? I am not opposed anything that asks to CIO either.

    We used Baby Wise. I know it has some negative connotations because it encourages the cry it out method, but we used it more as a guideline than anything else. You have to follow your intuition as a mother, but at the same time know that letting your baby

    I agree with PP. CIO is not for everyone and it isn't easy and my LO crys for most naps but never more than 15 minutes before he falls fast asleep.... sometimes not at all. But I have to just remind myself that crying won't hurt him and he will be asle

    I am having this exact same problem! I do Baby Wise but I still have trouble getting LO to nap or nap longer than 30 minutes. Since we have such a good thing going with a night time routine I am going to try a totally different routine for naps to see if

    I don't have an answer, but I'm so glad for this post to see what other mom's are doing! Unfortunately we have spoiled LO and we don't necessarily rock him to sleep every night, but if he doesn't fall asleep shortly after his bottle we usually walk around

    We used the Sleepeasy Solution for both naps and nighttime starting just after DD turned 5months.

    It has taken a while, but she has finally gotten to a point where she fusses for less than 5 mins before each nap and usually sleeps for 1+ at each

    I've read a ton of books to try to figure out what we want to do with our LO. It's all very confusing, but I will say I've found Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child to be informative and helpful in getting me to understand the developmental stages of sleep
