Cribs

I need some opinions.  This is our first baby so I am not sure what would be best.

My MIL is wanting to buy our crib and gave us a limit on price.  A decent one though.  So I am now looking at cribs.  My husband wants one with a changing table attached.  I can go either way.

What do you all think?  Which is better or more convenient? The room for the baby has room for either way too so I do not have to be careful on the size.

Re: Cribs

  • I prefer a crib without a changing station attached. It may help your toddler climb out of the crib. And because makes your crib bigger, it may give you fewer options of where to place the crib in the room.

  • Why does your husband want a table attached?

I would get one without. If you have another LO while your current baby is in diapers but out of the crib, you don't want to wake the new baby while changing the first. Plus, I like the aesthetic
  • i have davinci kalani and love it a lot.. i would suggest u to get a crib without the table attached..

  • I like the convertible crib that you can use as a crib, then a toddler bed, then a daybed, then a full size headboard/footboard.  I would go for one of those if it's in the price range, there is a wide range of prices for that type of crib.

  • I have an Ikea Gulliver crib and am using a dresser top as a changing table. I agree with PPs that an attached changing table is not ideal.
