We've had to start supplementing with formula since I'm not producing enough breast milk to keep up with my big boy. The hospital gave us ready to us Enfamil and that's what we've been using but we'd like to switch to the powdered form. Is this okay to do? For some reason I've heard that powdered isn't as good for newborns. Any truth to this?

February/March '17: Menopur + HCG + IUI = BFN
April '17: Menopur + HCG + TI (due to too many mature follicles) = BFN
May '17: Took off due to cysts
June' 17: Menopur + HCG + IUI = Cancelled due to 8+ mature follicles
November '17: Clomid + HCG + IUI= BFN
December '17: Menopur + HCG + TI= BFP!!!! Due August 2018

Unless your ped has mentioned a reason why you shouldn't use powder formula then there is no reason why you cannot. We started using powdered formula right when we got home from the hospital because my milk hadn't came in and DS wasn't latching. We've

Powdered formula isn't "sterile" so it isn't given to premies. Hospitals mostly use the pre-mixed kind in the single serve bottles because of this. Unless you are concerned about germs or your baby arrived early I wouldn't worry.
