Hypno Birthing, BS?

Hi Ladies,

I really want to try for a Vbac this time and my midwife said I should check into hypno birthing.  Has anyone here used the methods self study or classes?

I was hoping to get some real live feed back and you ladies are the best with feed back.

    I seem to remember one or two old posters who used it and had good experiences, but don't think they come around here anymore.  

    I would definitely ask this on the Natural Birth board as well.

    Ive looked into it online for my future second pregnancy, I would like a vbac also. There were a few reviews on amazon, particularly for the vbac CD.

    I didn't use it, but I know a few people who have and all loved it.

    I went drug free both times and with Kai I felt very out of control, especially as he pushed through the canal and crowned.  I hated the feeling, but made it through.

    I will jump in here, and I hate to be a wet blanket but I studied Hypnobabies and it didn't work for me. I take that back, it actually worked great to help me relax - after I got the epidural. I was never able to use it because you have to lie still, a

    I read the book, took a class and did the relaxation cds. I'd say the cds were the most helpful part. H wasn't on board with it 100%, and I was too excited during labor to meditate. after like 100 hrs of labor and stalling at 5cm for a good 12)16hrs I gav

    On my list of favorite "things" of pregnancy Hypnobabies would be second on my list after Bowen himself (yes! that is how much I love this!)

    Beca I think you sold me on this for the next time. I had L vaginally but Isis get an epi. Although it was wonderful, I always thought I would go naturally or at least longer without getting one, but I got nervous.
