That knows of a place l can swim for exersice for free or cheap??

    I've been having trouble posting this but wanted to say that I'd check the local high schools around you. They usually have open swim days and you can probably check their schedules through the districts community education. It costs a couple of dollars a visit.

    The YMCA in Mt. Clemens has a pool. I'm not sure what the membership is but my sister belongs there and I know it's not very expensive. You could also have the option of attending fitness classes and using their weight and workout machines.

    Not sure what school district you are in but check out your local high school and if your city/township has a recreation center. 

    Here of some I know of:

    YMCA in Mt Clemens;

    Chippewa Valley High School has open swim on Friday's only  (March 1 - April 19) for $5.90 6:30 - 7:30pm;

    Dakota H.S. has it on Fridays only through Feb 15 for $5.90 6:30 - 7:30pm.  

    Macomb Township Recreation Center (25 mile Rd) $5 for Macomb Twp residents, $10 for non-Macomb Twp residents.

    L'anse Creuse high schools have open swim, also.  Check their website for info.
