My first pregnancy dream...wasn't nice. :(

Here it is, because I know you all will understand. My next appointment is this Thursday and I'll be roughly 12 weeks. Last night my dream was this:

I was in the room with my OB (whom I love!). She did a quick external exam of abdomen and listened for the heartbeat with the doppler. I can't remember if we heard it in the dream or not. Regardless, she wanted to do an ultrasound and asked me to get undressed. As I was getting undressed, I noticed that the crotch part of my underwear was nothing but dark blood red. I looked up at her and she had the most horrified look on her face like she knew that I was losing this baby. That was the end of the dream and I woke up.

Oh my God. Being PgAL is a blessing, but the thoughts and worries that come with it suck! My first dream when I was pg with DS was that I was going to have a girl. You know...a nice, joyful kind of dream! This time...not so much. Hug me?

I've got a hug for ya! PGAL dreams are the worst! I had a bad one last night too...I know it's because my A/S is tomorrow, but I hate waking up and remembering it. Just try to remember it's your subconscious playing tricks on ya!

I'm sorry your are having awful dreams. I've had the same type as you describe. I've also woken up in a complete crying frenzy and still wake up thinking my belly is gone.

Yep, I've had one of those dreams. The day before my first ultrasound. I say indeed, you deserve a bunch of big ((((hugs))))

I've had two miscarriage dreams in the last week, one being last night. They suck! So of course this morning I have been on edge and anxious. Hugs to you.
