Hi everyone - hoping someone can help!
DS is 19 months. He's in the 90th percentile for height but only 25th for weight (with a super thin waist). He's tall and lean just like Daddy. Anyway, up until this point we've gotten all his pants from Baby Gap and they have fit great. We're at a turning point because the 12-18 still fit in his waist (on the tightest setting) but they are too short (yet the 18-24 are too long, even rolled).
Where do you mamas of tall & lean boys buy your pants? All recommendations welcome! Thank you!
Re: Pants for Tall 19 mo old
I wish I could help. DD1 is like your DS, and nothing really fits. We put her in dresses quite a bit (which I don't think is an option you want for your DS
), and we also use suspenders. Also, plain old cotton pants with an elastic waist band aren't
I am right there with you. Long and Lean, and all in the legs for us. Although DS cloth diaper helps hold some pants up. Most of his pants right now are getting short and I know there are 2T's in there so I am looking at pulling the 3T
DS isn't even on the charts anymore because he's so tall-- he's wearing 2t for lenth but I have to tighten up the adjustable straps in the waist band to the tightest fitting for them to fit right in the waist.
We have a pair of pants from The Childrens Place that has an adjustable waist.
