CS question

Lurker from SP, my XH just made his first CS payment in a few months but put it directly in my bank account. He was aware of the fact that he had to pay it through the state, I wasnt sure what to do. 

I was either going to transfer it back but im 99% sure Id never see it again or just go on the CSS website and pay it into my account directly but it asks all the information and i dont know how that would look if I use my own info. WWYD?

    I wouldn't do a thing. He knows he's supposed to pay through the state and didn't. It makes it seem he's further behind by paying you directly. Document it and remind him of the protocol. If he wants to call the CS agency to try to straighten it out, fine

    In my DH's CO, any payments not made to the states' disbursements' unit are not accounted towards CS.  In other words, anything he would have paid to his ExW outside of the court did not count towards CS

    Do nothing, it's up to him to get it straight not you.

    In my DH case it was considered a gift to BM and not counted as CS to the tune of 30k!

    He learned the hard way!!

    in 2 1/2 years I have received 3 payments from the ex. My ex use to like to try and send my money via paypal. I would refuse it and send it back. Every time I would tell him to send it to the court (most of these were only $30-$50 but still....)

    As the wife of a NCP who pays child support it sounds like a gift to me. BD knows what he is supposed to do. You are to coparent with him not mother him.

    I would send an email with a reminder. Something along the lines of "I received the payme

    Thank you so much ladies! Ill be following yor advice and remind him. I just put it towards the day care costs or something else :
