1st PP Period bright red blood

I can't remember my first PP period with DD, but this time around it showed up the day after my 6w PP check up. It's really, really bright red and heavy. I'm getting a little worried. It's been 5 days and it's still bright red.

Normal? Not normal?

    My first one was bright, heavy, and it seriously worried me. Doc put me on birth control and it calmed right down. So it's nothing major, she just said that the first PP period is a real doozy. If you are worried though talk to your doc, you know your bod

    7/5/11 MC at 8 weeks. 5/17/12 BFP, twins EDD 1/20/13! 6/20/12 Baby B's heart has stopped beating. 8/31/12 Baby A is a boy! And is perfectly healthy and thriving. 1/19/2013 emergency c-section, Thoren is perfect. 3/1/2013 told i will never be able to conceive again. 12/16/13 told they were wrong!

    I just got mine the other day and it is so heavy! Also bright red blood. I figure it's a little whacked out given that it's the first one in about a year.

    Mine was the same way. So heavy! But not a lot of cramping. Very weird.
