Cousin Vent

After I got my US and saw my jelly bean and the wonderful little flicker of a heartbeat, I told my family that we were expecting. Like Aunts Uncles and cousins and such. Well my Cousin that is like a sister to me was like "Yeah ok. So how are you going to work after this one is born? You can hardly find a babysitter for the one you have now."

I didn't even know how to respond to that. I am super hurt by her comments. I work right now because I want to not because I need to. Yes the little bit of money I bring in helps but we would do just fine on DH's pay check.

I almost threw in her face that when she called me 12 years and 9 years ago and told me she was KU that I was nothing but supportive. Getting KU by a drunk with a curent and past sketchy life. Someone who abuses you and treats you like a POS. And the only reason you got KU was to keep him from leaving you. But I thought I would be the bigger person and change the subject.
