babies and rain?

in November 2012 Moms

we're visiting a very rainy destination for 5 days.  will be walking around and sight-seeing a little bit.  Can we just hold the umbrella over the baby in the carseat stroller?  or do we need to get one of those carseat covers that blocks the rain?

    Personally, I would get a complete strollrr cover, the rain can shift or wind could blow and an umbrella might not protect LO.

    I vote baby carrier or stroller cover. I can't rec mine because its a cheapy one that doesn't really fit, I will be getting one made by Britax so I know it will fit properly.
