Call my child Chip : (

So I know I don't ever post messages but I need help or want someone to relate to my situation and offer much needed advice. So last night me and DD were playing in the living room at my inlaws and lo and behold DD tripped over FIL's shoes that he has lying around. Something inside me told me to pick them up for him, but I did not think that it could possibly become a dangerous item.

When she fell I thought she had just bit her lip because she had just a little bleeding. But this morning I noticed that she had chipped her front tooth. I feel terrible for her. I am going to take her to the pedi dentist tomorrow to see what they can do. She isn't showing signs that she is in discomfort because she is playing and smiling. Has anyone every had a LO go through this? If so could you give me advice please???
