Preparing for the 4 month wakeful

I know many of us are going through this right now, and it is really messing with our routines. Things that used to work no longer do, and some of us are trying all sorts of things to help our babies sleep. What items are you using to help get through this? Did you buy anything to meet a new need of your LO? What new strategies are you trying?

We recently stopped swaddling, and I moved LO out of the crib and back to the RnP and he seems to sleep better. I bought some teething tablets and a Sophie and both work great. I also take a baby washcloth, get it wet, wring it out and freeze it...it's his favorite thing to chew on.

I also bought some Aden and Anais security blankets, and he loves to hold on to one, chew in it, and feel the satiny edges.

All of these things are helping LO feel better. What about you guys?

  • My LO is wakeful during the day. If he naps its for 2030 minutes. He is pretty cranky but its easier to deal with because its daytime. Rocking him in the rocking chair and walking around with him helps

We got B a wubbanub. It's basically a beanie baby sewed to a soothie pacifier, but it helps LO hold on to his paci or he just chews on the animal... He seems to love it!

  • The worst part for me is that every bedtime and MOTN is so different, so I never know what to expect. I guess that's better than every night being awful, but I just feel constantly on edge- is he going to wake up 2x or 7x? Will he go down after 2 cluster
