My WTF appt.

We met with the RE on Friday. He believes that we can still try with my own eggs. They aren't of awful quality, but they aren't great. We both feel that this last cycle is really the first one that we can gain any knowledge from. The first IVF was with another RE & I question so many things with that one. He did say that my eggs are slow to develop. Also, if we do a fresh cycle, he will do a 3 day transfer, regardless of how many embryos. I asked about my tubes being blocked & mentioned how I don't know what could have caused any scarring (I never experienced any of the things that could potentially cause scar tissue). I decided to have another HSG done just to see if there really are blockages (I have heard/read stories where tubes were discovered to be clear after a 2nd test). I think it's really for my own knowledge. We tried unsuccessfully for a year naturally, so obviously something is wrong. We are going to do an FET since we do have one embryo on ice. I am not super hopeful with that one, but who knows. Then a fresh cycle if that one doesn't pan out. Of course the question of $$$ comes into play. I am going to try DHEA & CoQ10, also. Does any one have good info on them? I know that they have not been proven to actually help, but many people believe in their validity.

I'm not sure how I feel. I think I am just in such a bad place. I suffer from anxiety & depression as it is. Mentally I don't feel well. I feel like no matter what I do, I will question my decisions. I don't know what the RIGHT choice is. IF, I hate you.

Sounds like you're headed in a good direction though. This whole process is super frustrating, it really bites!!

You may want to check to see if your RE does Selective HSGs. Instead of just flushing dye through your tubes, they run a catheter. It helps to determine whether there is a true blockage. Sometime the dye will not flow if your tub

I started taking wheat grass shots [gluten free oddly enough]. Not sure if it did anything, and stopped a dew days before fet. It felt good to be doing something I had some control over. Good luck and I hope whatever you decide to do helps

I've been on coq10 for over six months now and DHEA for about 7 months we will see how this IVF in April goes. If it helped me or not not sure yet but willing to give it a shot! I've for my fx! Good luck
