uppababy vista for 2 ready to go!

I've had the uppababy vista stroller and car seat for over a month and finally got them out of the box last night and put it all together.  I got the Chicco keyfit 30 and the rumble seat and piggy back board (my DD1 is 3 but small for age).  My daughter was so excited to see it today that she insisted on taking her stuffed animal and herself for a walk....lol. We test drove it around the block and just wanted to share.

The rumble seat faces backwards and she didn't mind riding that way at all.  I was happy that she was only on the middle setting for shoulder strap height so she has a little room to grow.  It pushes very smooth and my only complaint is that it is a bit heavy pushing that thing uphill (while pregnant). I figure that isn't such a bad thing though since i'll be getting good exercise, and on flat ground it pushes beautifully.

Even with the car seat only occupied by a stuffed animal there was no way my DD1 would tip that stroller by sitting in the rumble seat.

Some people complain that there isn't much room between the rumble seat passenger and the infant car seat.  I thought there was enough room and if anything, I think it kinda kept my daughter sitting in her seat.

We tried the piggyback board and my daughter loves standing on it and it is very smooth riding.  My only complaint with the board is that it's a very snug fit putting it on and off....maybe it'll loosen with use?

Overall, very excited to use this new stroller with the 2 kiddos. Anyone else have personal experience using the uppababy vista with 2?

  • I am thinking of getting the ride on board, but there is no way DD would sit in the rumble seat.  For a true double I'm thinking about the Bumbleride Indie Twin.

Did you have any trouble folding the UBV with piggy board still attached?

  • I haven't tried to fold stroller with piggy back board attached, although you're supposed to be able to do it. Since my DD fits quite well in the rumble seat and doesn't seem to mind riding backwards, I plan on trying to mostly just use that for the first

  • BTW, about going backwards....just remember a lot of people get sit n stands where the older rider is riding backwards. That was part of my reasoning why it isn't such a big deal.  If my DD1 was 2 instead of 3 then I probably would have gotten the ci

  • DD has wanted to sit forward in the UBV since she was 7 months old (she screamed her head off until I turned the seat around).  She is a very busy girl who loves to see the world.  <img src="https://community.thebump.com/cs/emoticons/emotion-1

  • We got the UBV before my daughter was born and I have loved the stroller. I looked into other possible doubles and sit-n-stands and decided to buy the accessories to make the UBV a double. My daughter will be 3 in a couple weeks and is tall/thin for he
