Dentist

Noah had his first dentist appointment last week, and he did amazing! I was so proud of him! I decided to take him to a pediatric dentist (instead of to my sister-n-law who is a dental hygentist) and I'm so glad I did. They were great with him. They talked him (and me) through everything and let him use a mirror to watch everything the dentist was doing. Plus, the whole thing probably lasted only 10 minutes. I hope all our dentist experiences go this well! Has anyone else taken their LO to the dentist?

J has had 2 dentist appts. The first one was horrible. He cried a's kept biting the dentist. The second time, last weekend, was better but he still cried. We took him to Kool Smiles. Our dentist doesn't do little kids.

I'm so glad to hear this. I want to take T to the dentist so he learns what it's all about before it's time for the a real cleaning. My dentist is close to my job (a hour away) so I will have to find someone close to home for the kids. Maybe I will look f

I haven't! Ava is so skittish that her pediatrician recommended I wait until she's closer to three so I can explain (and she can understand) more of what's going on. I brush her teeth every night though. Hopefully that's enough!
