Using Mom's name as MN for baby?

I know it's more common to name sons after fathers (we did) but we're now considering using my name as our girl's middle name.  

I have a very unusual name, and we thought to use it as a middle name to maybe start it being a family name.  Not sure, just tossing it around.

So my name is Lael  (rhymes with Mail) and is very Irish. So thinking to use other irish type names w/ it.

Looking to see what first names I'd like with it.  Names with more L's seem a mouthful.   

 My only one really is:

Anna Lael

    Thanks ladies, these are great. But it is funny as I think about these great Irish names, and growing up w a big extended family, and going to a college w a lot of other Irish names, how many people I know w these names!

    My favourite Irish names for girls are Aislin and Saoirse. I think it's a nice idea to use your name as the middle name! My mom and I have the same middle name. I want to use my Nana's first name as a middle name if we have a girl.
