Pain in lower left side

I'm 5 weeks pregnant with our first child and I've been experiencing pain on the left side of my lower abdomen. It usually starts after I've been on my feet for a bit and it's always on my left side. This evening I started having the same pain, but I was sitting down and then started getting cramps in the center of my lower abdomen. They felt similar to menstrual cramps and lasted less than a minute. Has anyone else been experiencing this? Thanks for the feedback! xo

    I had the same thing last week now I'm fine, havnt felt the pain in my left side for a week now. I would just monitor it for a few days if it doesn't go away your really concerned call your doctor, I'm sure it just regular aches pains

    I'm not doctor here but a lot of times you can have pain on the side you ovulated from for a while. Or it could be your uterus stretching. You're going to feel a lot of odd things during pregnancy, most of which are completely normal.


    TTC Journey:
    Me: Dx stage I endometriosis DH: minimal MFI - 3% morph

    I had the same at 5 weeks, and everything was fine. If you have any spotting or the pain starts bothering you more, go get it checked out. It's worth the peace of mind.

    With my first I had a lot of pain on one side. The doctor said it was likely the side I ovulated from. Unless there is blood, cramping typically just indicates all the stretching going on in there!

    Thank you so much everyone! I'm seeing my doctor tomorrow, but knowing that others have experienced the same gives me a some peace of mind. I appreciate your feedback. By this time tomorrow we'll know if our little baby has a heartbeat. Wishing and prayin
