First bedroom set

I am going to be looking for a new bed soon for my LO's, probably a new dresser and nightstand. Everythihg is so $$$ but I want it to last and be a good set so I am willing to pay alittle more. Where did you get your LO's first bedroom set after they went into single beds?

    I guess we are horrible - bed was a hand me down from family and furniture was craigslist!

    We went with a bed made in the USA from natural wood so that there wouldn't be off gassing with formaldehyde.  The beds are a bit pricier but they are of high quality with great warranties and it's a set that they will have for a long time!

    I don't have the patience for Craig's list. We're going to be looking in Ikea and Walmart, etc. We're going to get a regular set, not one geared for kids so it lasts longer.

    We got a PBK set for DD, a lot of money for what it is, the dressers don't hold enough and the drawers don't come out far enough. We shopped around quite a bit though, and this seemed like the only set that would last more than a few years.

    I really like DD's bonavita furniture.  I've been looking around a lot for a new set for her, so the new baby can have hers and I might just get another bonavita dresser for her since the quality is so good and the price isn't over the top.

    Ours is their nursery furniture, we made sure to not buy babyish looking or super small furniture with the intention of using it a long time. We also got cribs that convert to full sized bed frames. So all we have to buy are nightstands that work with
