What mattress did you/are you getting?

Re: What mattress did you/are you getting?

  • We ended up getting the Simmons Sleep N More mattress.. it has a side for a baby to sleep on an a side for a toddler. Who knows if it really makes a difference. I wanted to get the Simmons Maxipedic which is what Baby Bargains recommended, but when my MIL went to BRU to buy it, they told her this one was a lot better and it was only $20 more.. It has more coils (which baby bargains said is overkill, but oh well), and is supposedly firmer.

  • It's not available at BRU, but Baby Bargains (can you tell I read this recently) recommends the foam Colgate Classica mattress.  If you want to get a spring mattress from BRU, they recommend the Serta Perfect Sleeper and the Seally Baby Soft (I think) as the best bang for your buck.
  • We got the 'Sealy Baby Soft Premium Crib and Toddler Bed Mattress'
