Two Under 2

Angel Care monitor

LO #2 will be here within the next 10 days.  My son is just 2 years old.  Their rooms will be right next to each other.  We used the Angel Care monitor that senses movement and beeps loudly when there is no movement/breathing.  I am afraid to use it with #2 because I don't want it waking up my son but i also want to do what is best for her.  Anyone with experience?  tia

Re: Angel Care monitor

  • Mine share a room and I use it with DD2.  It has been fine.  Both sleep deep and have never been woken up by it.  When I started getting a lot of false alarms from her moving too far from the pad, I increased the sensitivity and it stopped.

  • My kids' rooms are right next to each other as well. They have never woken each other up with crying. We used the Angelcare and whenever it went off it never woke my DD up (or my DS for that matter).

My biggest suggestion is a sound machine

  • We use the Angel Care monitor for both children and their rooms are right next to each other.  Nothing wakes up our older child--even the couple of false alarms from his own monitor.
