Nope, DS still looks like a baby bird when he sees a spoonful of anything. It took a while for him to "get" fingerfoods. It just clicked for him this past week, so I try to give him some homemade bread every day. I have also given him some banana chunks.
We do BLW so we've never done purees. But just after 8 months DS really "got it." Now he packs away food like nobody's business. I'm shocked at how much he can eat when he really wants to.
