Hi all,
I am 10w4d and have a factor 7 blood deficiency which is a rare genetic disorder similar to hemophilia. My OB is aware of this and I've recently seen my hematologist who had my factor 7 levels tested since I haven't had that done in about a decade. I will find out more about what's going on at my appointments the beginning of April. Most of all I am worried about bleeding during delivery and post partum hemorrhage.... But we'll see what doc says in April. To top things off... My mother is not supportive of my situation and told my DH that I was going to die during delivery... Grrrr. Just wanted to vent especially since I haven't yet announced my pregnancy to many folks.

I have protein s and factor 5 (2clotting disorders) you are not going to die! I was just fine with my son. It was a normal, problem free delivery and recovery. The only thing is sometimes they induce you so they can control your blood thinners. O
Sorry your mom isn't being supportive! That's not a good feeling.
Try not to worry too much. You need to get in with your hematologist and a high-risk OB specialist. Have you heard of Novo Seven? It is a recombinant
