If I register for the medela bottles and pump do I need to register for other bottles incase I can't breast feed? Or can u put formula in the medela bottles? I feel like this is a stupid question but.... Figured I would ask any of you STMs!

I don't know the answer to this, but just wanted to tell you to check with your insurance company. There's a new law that requires health insurance companies to cover breast pumps. One of my friends got her $250 Medela pump in the mail totally

You can use the bottles, but I think they don't come with nipples and the ring that holds them on. You will probably end up trying several bottles and nipples to see what LO likes. I would have something in hand, but if you plan on BFing don't go crazy.

Almost everyone that I've come in contact with agrees that the Medela bottles that come with the pump really suck. Mine leaked horribly and the nipples were stiff and not at all like a natural nipple.
