AW: 1st Baby free night!

Yesterday was my birthday. My cousin's gift to me=coming to stay at the house to keep DS so DH & I could go out for the day & then stay at a hotel for the night :)

I am really glad that I finally had my 1st baby-free night. We had a couples massage, which totally helped me calm my crazies from leaving someone else in control of my kid.

Checked in at the hotel & freshened up, *wink wink*

Then we had way too much food at Cheesecake Factory & saw a movie. 

We were in bed at 10pm. I am old now. :) 

Really no point to this but now I am wondering if I am the last November momma to let someone babysit the kid.

    That sounds absolutely sublime. I'm glad you had a great time! I did my first overnight without DD when she was about 10 months or something and it was awesome. I was planning on sleeping in, but I woke up at 8:30 and immediately wanted my baby back. :-)

    Sounds like so much fun.  Unfortunately the only time I have been away from DS1 overnight was when I was in the hospital with DS2.  I am hoping once we move closer to family DH and I can do an overnight for our anniversary.

    Ha, I was awake at 7am. I couldn't asleep in either!

    My only nights away were a 4 day work trip with my boss.  I want to go away with DH so bad!

    DS hasn't spent the night away. He's been a crazy sleeper and actually just moved out of our bed to his crib in jan. so it's been hard to leave him . Now that he sleeps in his crib I really don't have another excuse other than I just don't want him to be gone! :
