babies and color

I have no clue why I'm so obsessed with baby gear and toys! Anyone else spend hours researching toys and baby stuff? It's probably because I'm a perfectionist.

Getting to the point now... I've been reading different things on babies and how they should be exposed to lots of color for developmental reasons, Yet a lot of my research says that babies don't start developing their sight of colors until they are at least 3 months old.

So, my questions is should I purchase colorful baby items or buy items that look more soothing like tans and browns?

 What's best for the baby? What did you do and why?

    Black and white is good stimulation for newborns and bright primary colors after that.

    I think your baby and toddler will be more drawn to bright colors. So that is what I would go for. Whenever I give my 16 month old a choice of sheets or blankets, he usually chooses the more colorful option.
