XP: Chicco Nextfit & albeebaby.com

DH and I want to purchase a convertible car seat soon (even though she can use her infant seat for awhile longer) to avoid spending $500+ on new seats for both of our cars at the same time.  I LOVE our Chicco Keyfit infant seat, and while I was originally debating between a Britax and a Diono Radian, I was super excited when I discovered that Chicco's new convertible seat is being released in a month. Two things...1) Is anyone else considering this seat?  The only bit of hesitation I have with ordering it is that it's brand new, so obviously hasn't been used other than in crash tests in the factory.  I would hate for it to be recalled later... However, I think the success of the Keyfit speaks volumes for Chicco.2) Has anyone ever ordered from albeebaby.com??  Good/bad experiences??  They have a 15% off code right now, so the seat would be $237.99 (no tax, free shipping) instead of $279.99 (+tax) like it's going to be if I pre-order it from somewhere else.  I just came across the website and had never heard of it before. Thanks ladies!

  • I looked at the Chicco seat and I don't get the hype. I still would rather have my Rsdians. I think the Radians last the longest, are sturdier, and the low profile and narrow seat is amazing. I really don't get it.
