Eco-friendly?

Ideas for making the party a little more eco friendly?  I'm planning on doing books for favors since most of the babies that will be there are not eating junk yet and I don't expect the parents would want a bunch of cheap plastic toys that could be a choking hazard...

I was also thinking of buying some re-useable plates/forks/etc in fun colors instead of throw-away ones... that way we can use them for another party...

Also, maybe sewing a banner with Happy Birthday on it that could be used again.

Anything else that you can think of?!?
