Non-Walkers check in please

My son will be 14 months on Saturday.  He's still not walking.  I know he'll walk when he's ready but I just need some affirmation that he is not the only one not walking yet.

    Though my son is currently walking at 20 months, I can attest to the fact that he didn't start walking until a couple of days before his 15 month appointment. So I agree with PP, it can be completely normal.

    My son didn't walk until he was 15 months old. Don't worry! Now he's 17 months and never looked back!

    My daughter is a little over 15 months and not walking.  At her 15 month appointment, the doctor was not concerned.  She definitely seems to have the ability but just isn't ready.

    It is completely normal! My DD didn't start walking until about a week before the 14 month mark, but I know so many other children who are over 14 months and still not walking so do not worry! Just make sure you practice a lot and give tons of encourageme

    My daughter is just over 15 months old and she isn't walking yet.  She will take about 4 or 5 steps and then sits down. We see the ped. the end of April.  I'm hoping she'll be walking by then...I agree...definitely tired of people asking if she'

    14 months here and still not walking.  Don't get down on yourself of LO.  My DD is perfectly content to crawl and she is FAST.

    My DD just started walking last week at 13.5 months. She's been pulling up and cruising since 9.5 months. For what it's worth, my younger brother didn't walk until he was almost 19 months old. There is nothing wrong with him developmentally or otherwise,

    Totally normal! My DD didn't walk until just before 16m. I think as far as being considered "behind", they like to see a child walking by 18m.
