nuchal translucency

Is it routine to have this 1st trimester screening (nuchal translucency)  I did not have this with my 1st pregnancy, but my doctor is recommending it to be even more accurate than the 2nd tri screening (which we did last time) and found out the gender during that test.  Do people do both?  I did say no to the more invasive tests.

    It's just an ultrasound, so I wouldn't call it invasive.  Though i do know some people would like to limit the number of u/s for personal reasons.
